Activities prior to the Main Event
• Inauguration of the Organizing Committee by - Abia State Commissioner for Trade and Investment.
• World press conference at Umuahia, Abuja and Lagos.
• Road shows on “Made in Aba Products” (Umuahia, Onitsha, Nnewi, Aba, Port-Harcourt, Uyo, Calabar, Owerri,
- it will also serve as part of invitations and publicity for ABSITE Expo).
• Beauty pageant show - Mr. and Miss “Made in Aba Fashion Show”
• Audition for Aba upcoming artistes that will be performing during the days of ABISITE
(these artistes will be used by the brewing companies/telecommunication companies that will host the night entertaining events.
• Individual and corporate awards on “Best Made in Aba” products( best furniture maker, best shirt designer, best fabricator,
best suite designer, best trouser designer, best graphics designer, best native wears ( senator) designer,
best shoe designer, best cap designer, best men bag designer, best female bag designer)

After opening ceremonies- exhibition starts;
Activities for the one Week
Day 1- Morning- opening ceremonies, exhibitions and trade fair starts.
Night- Golden Guinea nite (the company will entertain the Aba people and other invited guests with notable Nigeria artistes and upcoming Aba artistes,
market their products with promos for the general public).
Day 2 - Morning-Special day for shoe makers. Focus during the colloquium will be on the efforts of the Abia State Government so far to promote the shoe manufacturing industry in Aba, present challenges and prospects- way forward. (CBN, Bank of Industry, cooperatives and micro finance banks and other federal govt establishments that promote leather products will be invited, invitation shall be extended to the Chinese company that trained shoe makers from Aba recently at China, investors, notable businessmen and women, ambassadors of the G8 countries, donor agencies, international organizations etc). Night- Guinness Nigeria Plc Nite ( same as in Day 1 night).
Day 3 - Morning- clothes and garments makers (colloquium as in Day 2, with emphasis on garments of all kinds)
Night- Nigeria Breweries Ltd. (Activities as in Day 2 Night).
Day 4 - Morning- Bags and caps and other leather works (Colloquium—same--)
Night- 7up and Coca Cola( same—same)
Day 5 - Morning- furniture makers, black smiths, and other fabricators (Colloquium—same—same).
Night- Pabod Breweries Nite (same—same—same).
Day 6 - Closing ceremonies and display on made in Aba special innovations like keke without fuel, grinding machines, cooking equipments, locally made locomotives etc, details on access to funds in promoting Made in Aba products and for the producers.
Night- Entertainment from MTN, Globacom, Airtel, Etisalat. (with notable artistes and Aba upcoming artistes). Award Night for “Best Aba Cheff” and “Best Aba Eatery/Restaurant” .
