Prof. Ekwonye Emmanuel Chinoyerem, (TCII, NCE, B.ED, M.ED, Ph.D)

Prof. Ekwonye has been a classroom Teacher, a Principal, Lecturer, Reader, and Associate Professor at Imo State University Owerri.

Memberships:
(i)    Member - Association of Teacher Educators of Nigeria.
(ii)    Member - Association for Promoting Quality Education in Nigeria (APQEN).
(iii)    Member - The Nigerian Society for Educational Psychologist (NISEP).
(iv)    Member - The Nigerian Association of Educational Researcher and Evaluators.

In the University he has served as:

(a)    Assistant Chairman, Faculty Teaching Practice Committee.
(b)    Chairman, Faculty Project Committee.
(c)    Secretary, Faculty PG Curriculum Committee.
(d)    Coordinator, ICEP/Education.
(e)    Coordinator, Faculty Ph.D Thesis Committee among others.

As part of community service, Prof. Ekwonye has served as:

(1)    Chairman, UNN Teaching Practice Supervision for Sandwich Students, Imo and Abia states.
(2)    Center Manager, N.T.I, MDG Capacity Building Workshop N.S.U/Ikenanzzi Obowo.
(3)    Researcher, Evaluation of the Distance Education Programme of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture.
(4)    Researcher Evaluation of Implementation of MDG Conditional Grant Programmes in Abia State.

Prof. Ekwonye as an Educationist has published a lot of books and written journals on the field of Education.
